Pick up from Delhi Volvo bus stand catch Volvo Delhi ISBT Drive to Shimla, Shimla is 370 Kilometres from Delhi and will take 7-8 hours to reach.

      

Shimla: - Shimla was the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains. Which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Early morning reach Manali pick up by our cab and move to hotel check in hotel. Half day tour Visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisth Kund. Hadimba temple, Also known as the Doongri Temple, is a four-tiered pagoda-like wooden temple standing in Deodar trees and has beautiful carvings on its ornamental door. Dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhim, this temple is the venue for an annual fair held during May. Visit The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.  Tibetan Monastery & Van Vihar. Later make your visit to Vashishta Springs, are located across the Beas River, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet) and are the natural sulphur hot springs. Enjoy the evening on the mall road where you can buy souvenirs and handicrafts (on your own).

After breakfast visit Naggar Town, amidst breathtaking forested hills, the Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical edifice. Made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. Kullu Shawl factory, River rafting point. It was built in AD 1460 in an impressive amalgamation of European and Himalayan architecture. Fireplaces, fitting staircases, and magnificent stone and wood works grace the castle's interiors. There are three small shrines within the premises, each holding immense religious importance. For art lovers, Naggar Castle has incredible art pieces on display. Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artefacts bearing imprints of Roerich's paintings from here. In the year 1978, the castle was converted into a rest house, and more recently into a heritage hotel that is run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). The holy Beas River flows close to the castle, adding beauty and sanctity to it. Visit The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Tibetan Monastery & Van Vihar. Later make your visit to Vashishta Springs, are located across the Beas river, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet) and are the natural sulphur hot springs. This day proceed towards Solang valley. Solang Valley: Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Day: 1 Chandigarh – Narkanda


On arrival pick up from Chandigarh airport / railway station and drive to Narkanda. Check in at Hotel. sightseeing of Hatu temple ( Hatu peak is located at an elevation of 3400 m/12000 ft above sea level and is the highest summit in Shimla/Narkanda region of Himachal PradeshIndia. The peak is surrounded by dense woods. The area has forests of fir and spruce, with a smattering of maple, aspen and cedar trees). Evening you can explorelocal village culture. Dinner & O/N stay.  


Day: 2 Narkanda – Jibhi


After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jibhi. Check in at Hotel after freshens up Move to Nature walk/ Jungle walk. Back to hotel Dinner and overnight stay.


Day: 3 Jibhi – Jalori Pass – Sarehul Lake ( 6kms 3-4 hrs Trek)


After breakfast move toJalori pass and Sarehul Lake Trek. Sarehul Lake is some 6 kms from Jalori Pass. The lake and its adjacent temple are highly revered among locals here. Hundreds of local pilgrims as well people from other regions of Himachal visit this temple every year. Pilgrims circle around the lake and pour Pure Desi Ghee on its periphery. This beautiful Trek to Sarehul Lake is largely flat with some steep patches in between and it can be easily trekked by a beginner. It takes around 2 hours to make it to Lake from Jalori Pass and you will see some breathtaking views during the trek. Day: 06 Solang Valley Sightseeing

This day proceed towards Solang valley. Solang Valley: Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from these many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.  Overnight stay at hotel.


Day: 07 Manali-Kullu – Manikaran drop Volvo 

After Breakfast Today Morning post breakfast, visit Naggar Town, amidst breathtaking forested hills, the Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical edifice. Made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. Kullu Shawl factory, River rafting point. It was built in AD 1460 in an impressive amalgamation of European and Himalayan architecture. Fireplaces, fitting staircases, and magnificent stone and wood works grace the castle's interiors. There are three small shrines within the premises, each holding immense religious importance. For art lovers, Naggar Castle has incredible art pieces on display. Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artefacts bearing imprints of Roerich's paintings from here. In the year 1978, the castle was converted into a rest house, and more recently into a heritage hotel that is run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). The holy Beas River flows close to the castle, adding beauty and sanctity to it. No trip to Manali is actually complete if you don't pay a visit to this attraction." then proceed to Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib in afternoon. like Evergreen Cafe in Kasol. Manikran lies in the Parvati valley of Kullu district. The spring is situated near the bank of Parbati River. These are confined to several groups of hot water springs emerging at various locations spreading up to a distance of about 1.3 kms along the river from the old bridge to Brahmaganga. The springs at Manikran come out to surface with pressure and are very hot. There is no sulphur or iron mixed in the waters, but it is said to be radioactive. Day: 01 Chandigarh– Shimla (130 Kms 4hrs)


Pickup from Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Shimla, Shimla is 130 Kilometres from Chandigarh and will take 3-4Hrs to reach. Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab. Check in at hotel, and overnight stay at Hotel.

   

Day: 02 Shimla – Kufri –Shimla

   

After breakfast drive to Kufri Excursion visit-

After an early breakfast, make your journey to Manali. While driving to Manali, enjoy the scenic beauty of enchanting Himalayas & visit en-route places like Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Sutlej River, and Beas Sutlej Link Project &Kullu Valley. In Hinduism, Manu was said to have survived a great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. DAY: 04 Manali local sightseeing

   

Today proceed for the sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hadimba Temple, VashisthKund. Hadimba temple, Also known as the Doongri Temple, is a four-tiered pagoda-like wooden temple standing in Deodar trees and has beautiful carvings on its ornamental door. Dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhim, this temple is the venue for an annual fair held during May. Visit The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Tibetan Monastery & Van Vihar. Later make your visit to Vashishta Springs, are located across the Beas river, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet) and are the natural sulphur hot springs. Day 1 Chandigarh to Narkanda: (175 KM /5-6 Hrs)


Pickup from Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Narkanda, Narkanda is 175 Kilometres from Chandigarh and will take 5-6 hours to reach. Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab. Check in to the hotel. O/N/S.


Day 2 Narkanda to Sangla: ( 161kM / 5 HRS)


Drive to Sangla through the thick woods of Narkanda and alongside the River Sutlej. If you reach Tapriat lunch time then don’t forgot to have food at kangri dhaba. On the way you can enjoy beautiful lake  hydro project at karcham dam. In the evening reach and check in hotel. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border. Day 3 Sangla- Chhitkul- Sangla (Stay) (3 HOURS /40 KM) Hrs:


After B/F, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam &Nages God. Post Lunch, excursion to Chitkul – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards & brilliant stream. Day 4 Sangla to Kalpa: (4 HOURS/49 KM.) 2670 Mtrs :


 After B/F, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Kalpa – District Headquarter of Kinnor & once a favourite haunt of LordDalhousie. Arrive Kalpa & Check-in to your Hotel. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. It is said that as & when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jokinen & the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlingathat changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Post Lunch rest in Hotel & in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar. Dinner & O/N stay.

                                                

Day 5 Kalpa:


Early morning enjoy the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. Itinerary

Day 1 Chandigarh to Shimla


Pickup from Chandigarh Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to shimla. Check in to the hotel. and Dinner & O/N/S.


Day 2 Shimla to Sangla: (230 km / 8 – 9 HRS):


Drive to Sangla through the thick woods of Narkanda and alongside the River Sutlej. If you reach Tapriat lunch time then don’t forgot to have food at kangri dhaba. On the way you can enjoy beautiful lake hydro project at karcham dam. In the evening reach and check in hotel. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border. Day 3 Sangla- Chhitkul- Sangla (Stay) (3 HOURS /40 KM) Hrs:


After B/F, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam &Nages God. Post Lunch, excursion to Chitkul – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards & brilliant stream. Return back to Sangla for Dinner & O/N stay.


Day 4 Sangla to Kalpa: (4 HOURS/49 KM.) 2670 Mtrs :


After B/F, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Kalpa – District Headquarter of Kinnar& once a favourite haunt of Lord Dalhousie. Arrive Kalpa& Check-in to your Hotel. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. It is said that as & when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden& the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79 foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Post Lunch rest in Hotel & in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan KarAndRoghi Village (beautiful village in kalpa). Dinner & O/N stay.


Day 5 Kalpa- Tabo: (4-5 HOURS/150 KM.) 3500 Mtrs


After B/F, Check-out from Kalpa Hotel & drive to Tabo. En-route visit Nako Lake – Kinnaur’s most picturesque hamlets. Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village built around a small lake & has an important Buddhist Gompa & a small Temple. A footprint like impression on a rock is ascribed to the saint Guru Padmasambhava. Welcome to Spiti Valley – with few signs of Vegetations. Yet this land renders visitors speechless with its harsh raw beauty of the landscape. Rudyard Kipling describes Spiti in “Kim” in these words: “At last they entered a world within a world – a valley of leagues where the high hills were fashioned of the mere rubble & refuse from off the knees of the mountains…surely the Gods live here. Arrive Tabo& Check-in to your Hotel. The ancient village Tabo situated on the left bank of river Spiti. It is the seat one of the most famous Buddhist Monasteries regarded next to the Tholong Gompa in Tibet. It is also known at ‘Ajanta of Himalayas’. Dinne& O/N stay.


Day 6 Tabo to Kaza: (50 km/ 2-3 hours)  


After breakfastcheck out from hotel and journey starts to witness the Ajanta of Himalayas the Tabo monastery.Tabo Monastery constructed in 996 AD; – not just in Spiti but in the whole of the Tibetan Buddhist world is called Chogs – Khor [‘Doctrinal Circle’ or ‘Doctrinal Enclave’]. It is a complex that holds 9 Temples, 23 Chortens, a Monk’s Chamber & an extension that houses the Nun’s Chamber. On the sheer cliff-face above the enclave are a series of Caves, used as dwellings by the Monks & includes an Assembly Hall.Tabohasthe oldest cave on barren mountains and Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism. Day 7 Kaza: 


After breakfast excursion to Kee monastery andafterthat drive to the highest motorable roar Langza and enroute visiting the Comik and Hikim village. O/N Hotel at Kaza.

                                                

Day 8 Kaza to Chandratal Lake (52 km)


Morning After breakfast we shall leave for Chandratal Lake bycrossingKunzam Pass (15,100ft) reach Baltal, change a vehicle to Sumo toproceed to Chandratal lake. On a way have a magnificent view of CB RangesPeaks. This Deep Blue Water Has A Circumference Of 2.5 Kms. This Is the SourceOf the River Chandra According To Some Believers, This Is the Spot From WhereThe God Indra`S Chariot Took The Eldest Pandava Brother Yudhistra To Swarga To Heaven In His Mortal Form. Full day at Leisure to enjoy the beauty of beautiful lake and natural surrounded Snow peaks. O/N Camping at Chandratal Lake.


Day 9 Chandartal - Manali


Manali is only at a distance of 122 kms from Chandratal but make no mistake; this journey will easily take 7-8 hours, even more. You will be driving through the worst patch of road that you have ever encountered in your life. From Chandratal, reach back to Kunzum Pass, and then head towards Batal. At Batal, you will take the road towards Gramphoo and then start on your ascent to second high altitude pass of the journey, Rohtang La. From there, it is a straight run to Manali. Check in hotel at Manali and Overnight at Manali hotel


Day 10 Manali to Chandigarh (Departure)


After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Chandigarh and Drop at Chandigarh railway station/ airport with sweets memories of Himachal
