Mount Batur is a beautiful hilltop that offers a marvellous scene of the natural landscape that enjoys a great historical significance, apart from the fact that it boasts of having the largest of the lakes in Bali. To catch the glimpse of the sunrise, the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Tour begins in the wee hours to trek Mount Batur with the accompaniment of the experienced Balinese guide. The climb starts from the picturesque Lake Batur up to the summit of the mount that takes a full day. Enjoy magnificent views of the natural surroundings of the Island from the summit of the highest crater. On the trekking route, you will come across a lot of monkeys. Enjoy a simple Balinese breakfast with coffee/ tea, as you watch the sun appear on the horizon. Climb further-on over the black sand and lava-formed hills, while exploring the UNESCO-recognized crater. 1:00 am: Pick up from the hotel for Bali sightseeing, to be transported directly to starting point at the Pura Jati Temple
3:45 am: Upon arrival at the starting point, you will be briefed about the safety precautions to be followed by our experienced professional guide (from The Association of the Mount Batur Trekking Guides).
04:00 am: You will begin the trek to Mount Batur
04:20 am: Continue the climb till you reach the summit of the highest crater by sunrise
6:15 am: Upon arrival at the summit of the highest crater, to witness the ever-beautiful sunrise with magnificent views of the island. While there, we enjoying refreshment of eggs boiled in the volcanic steam.
07:00 am: Carry on with the trek around the crater. You will observe the hill formed out of mounted lava and the thus hardened black sand, before returning downwards to the bottom.
08:00 am: Begin your descent to the Pura Jati Temple that is finishing point of your trek.
09:00 am: After arrival at the Pura Jati Temple, board the car.
09:30 am: Make a stopover at a Balinese Coffee Plantation.
10:30 am: You will be dropped back in the hotel of your accommodation.
